Terms of sale
Version 42 · 11 October 2026 · Draft for legal review
What these terms cover
These terms describe how a domain name listed on usavir.uk is sold. They are not an offer. A sale is made only by a written sale agreement signed by both parties; nothing on this site, and nothing in email, is binding until then.
The seller
The seller of record for every name is Usavir Naseem · USAVIR · United Kingdom (“USAVIR”). USAVIR is the registrant of each name it offers and holds it outright; no name is listed on behalf of anyone else.
Asking prices and offers
Every listing states an asking price in pounds sterling, the date it was written, and a floor beneath which offers are not considered. Prices are written in full, and every change to a price is dated on the name’s own page. Asking prices quoted to consumers are the total price, including any VAT.
An offer sent through a name’s page is an invitation to negotiate. USAVIR may accept, counter or decline any offer, and may withdraw a name at any time before a sale agreement is signed, including on a credible rights claim.
How a sale completes
- Agreement. USAVIR sends a one-page written sale agreement naming the domain, the price, the payment terms and the transfer window. The buyer accepts it in writing.
- Invoice. USAVIR sends an invoice in the seller’s name. The bank account on the invoice is in that same name. Bank details are given only on an invoice and never change by email or phone; if the buyer receives different details, the buyer should stop and telephone the number on the invoice.
- Payment. The buyer pays by bank transfer in pounds sterling. Cleared funds are confirmed by USAVIR in its own bank, not from any document. Cash, cheques, cards, cryptocurrency and third-party payers are not accepted. Any overpayment is refunded only to the account it came from.
- Transfer. Within two business days of cleared funds USAVIR transfers the name to the buyer’s registrar account (by registrar push, authorisation code or, for .uk names, Nominet registrant transfer) and sends the registrar’s confirmation. If the name is not transferred within that window the payment is returned in full.
- Confirmation. The buyer confirms control in writing; the listing is marked sold and the date is recorded on its page.
What the sale includes
The sale is of the domain name registration only. It includes no website content, no email accounts, no trade mark rights and no goodwill. Trade mark clearance for the buyer’s intended use is the buyer’s own responsibility.
USAVIR warrants that at completion it is the sole registrant, that the name is not subject to any dispute, lien or known rights claim of which USAVIR is aware, and that it has the right to transfer it. No other warranty is given.
Who is buying
The sale agreement records whether the buyer acts as a business or as an individual, and the buyer’s country. Buyers who are consumers may have cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013; the agreement states the position. Sales are subject to UK financial-sanctions checks, and USAVIR may decline to proceed where it cannot satisfy itself.
Law
These terms and every sale agreement are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
This page is a draft prepared for review by a solicitor before the first sale; the signed sale agreement, not this page, is the contract.
