Who is responsible

The data controller for usavir.uk is Usavir Naseem · USAVIR · United Kingdom, writing as USAVIR. Write to usavir969@gmail.com about anything on this page. There is no separate data protection officer; the founder answers himself.

When you order a name

Pressing Buy on a name and submitting the order sends your first name and last name, your email address, the name ordered and the time to a USAVIR server endpoint. The server derives your customer reference from your email address (a salted one-way hash, so the same address always gives the same reference and the reference cannot be turned back into the address), records the country your connection appeared to come from, and stores an order record and a customer record in a private store held by USAVIR’s hosting provider, Cloudflare. It then emails the order to USAVIR and emails you a confirmation with the invoice attached as a PDF.

Why: to take and fulfil your order, send the invoice, match your payment to the name, transfer the name and keep the record of the sale. Lawful basis: performance of a contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) and, for the record of the sale, the legal obligation to keep business and tax records (Article 6(1)(c)). Kept: six years from the end of the financial year of the order, the period UK tax law can require business records to be kept, then deleted. If you order and never pay, the record is kept for the same period as the record of an order that was not completed.

The record does not hold your IP address or your browser’s details. Bank details are never shown on a page: they reach you only in the invoice email.

When you make an offer, ask a question or register interest

The details you type (name, email, and whichever of phone, company, country, buyer type, budget and message you give) are sent to a USAVIR server endpoint, written to a private log for 90 days so that a failed email cannot lose your message, and emailed to usavir969@gmail.com. The log holds what you typed, the time, a reference and the country your connection appeared to come from; it does not hold your IP address, and the email contains no IP address.

Why: to answer you and, if a sale follows, to prepare it. Lawful basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)) and USAVIR’s legitimate interest in answering the people who write to it (Article 6(1)(f)). Kept: 90 days in the log; the email stays in USAVIR’s mailbox for as long as the correspondence is relevant.

Your details are used to answer you and to prepare a sale. They are not sold, shared with marketplaces or added to any mailing list. Sales are subject to UK financial-sanctions checks, which may involve searching the name you give against the public UK consolidated list.

The emails

Orders, offers and questions reach USAVIR’s mailbox, which is provided by Google (Gmail). The confirmation email, with the invoice attached as a PDF, is sent to you from sales@usavir.uk through Resend, an email service provider; replying to it reaches USAVIR’s mailbox. Resend holds the sending record (your address, the subject and the delivery status) under its own data-processing terms for the period its service requires.

The security check

The forms may use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated scripts. Turnstile is operated by Cloudflare under its own privacy terms and may set a cookie for that purpose on challenges.cloudflare.com. The server also rate-limits requests by connection: the connection address is used for that moment and is not stored. For orders, a salted one-way hash of the connection address (sixteen characters, from which the address cannot be recovered) counts the day’s orders from that connection for up to two days, so that one connection cannot send strangers a stream of invoices; the address itself is never stored.

Analytics, only with your consent

This site runs no analytics unless you press Allow analytics on the cookie bar. If you do, Google Analytics 4 loads and sets its cookies (_ga and _ga_*) to count visits and pages; Google processes that data under its own terms, with IP addresses anonymised. Lawful basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time with Cookie settings at the foot of every page. Essential only means no Google script ever loads. See Cookies.

Server logs and the crawl log

Cloudflare serves this site and may log requests in the normal way under its own terms; USAVIR does not identify visitors from those logs. USAVIR keeps its own aggregate crawl log of page requests: the page path, the response status, the kind of visitor (a named search or AI crawler, another automated client, or a browser, classified from the user agent, which is not stored), the name of the referring site (for example a search engine or an AI assistant, never the full address), the country and the time. It holds no IP address, no cookie and no identifier, so it cannot be used to recognise a person. Lawful basis: USAVIR’s legitimate interest in knowing which search engines and answer systems read the site (Article 6(1)(f)).

Names on offer

A domain name offered on this site may itself redirect to its own page here. Visiting such a name sends an ordinary web request to USAVIR’s hosting provider, which may log it in the normal way; USAVIR does not identify visitors from those logs.

Who processes data for USAVIR

Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the site, holds the order records and the 90-day log, routes the forms’ emails to USAVIR, runs the security check and stores the aggregate crawl log. Resend, Inc. sends the invoice email. Google LLC provides USAVIR’s mailbox and, only with your consent, the analytics. Each processes data under its own data-processing terms, which include the safeguards UK law requires for any transfer outside the United Kingdom. USAVIR does not sell data and shares it with no one else, except where the law requires it.

Cookies and browser storage

One first-party cookie, usavir_consent, remembers your cookie choice for twelve months; the same choice is kept in your browser’s local storage. Nothing else is set unless you allow analytics. Fonts are served from usavir.uk itself. The full list is on Cookies.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you can ask what USAVIR holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted (except where it must be kept as a business record), ask for its use to be restricted, object to its use, receive a copy in a portable form, and withdraw consent where consent is the basis. Write to usavir969@gmail.com; USAVIR answers within one month. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

How your data is protected

Every page and every form is served over HTTPS with strict transport security and a content security policy that allows only the scripts named on this page. Secrets, including the bank details printed in the invoice, live only in the hosting provider’s encrypted store and are never written into a page or a response. Orders are written to the store before any email is sent, so a failed email cannot lose an order. Requests are rate-limited and the forms carry a hidden field that only automated scripts fill in. The owner’s view of the orders is protected by a secret key and is otherwise invisible.

Children

This site sells domain names to businesses and adults. It is not aimed at anyone under 18 and USAVIR does not knowingly collect their data; if a parent or guardian tells USAVIR that a child has sent details, they are deleted.

Changes to this page

This page is dated at the top. When it changes, the date changes and the change is described here. Version 44: the order records, the invoice email through Resend, the consent bar and analytics, the crawl log, the retention periods and the rights section were added. Version 45: first and last name recorded separately; the invoice is a PDF attached to the confirmation email.

Terms

This site

usavir.uk is published by USAVIR (Usavir Naseem · USAVIR · United Kingdom). It presents the domain names USAVIR holds and offers for sale, the procedure for buying one, and the company. The terms of sale govern any purchase.

Information on the listings

Facts on a name’s page (ending, length, registration year, registrar) are taken from the public registry record on the date shown. The cataloguer’s note, where there is one, is the seller’s opinion and is labelled as such. Comparable sales are shown only with a public source. Nothing on this site is a valuation, investment advice or a guarantee of any outcome.

The forms and the Buy button

Offers, questions and registrations of interest sent through the forms on this site go to USAVIR by email and are kept in a private log for 90 days. A reference is shown on screen when the message has been stored. An offer is an invitation to negotiate and is not binding on either party. An order placed with a name’s Buy button is governed by the terms of sale.

No accounts

There are no accounts and no passwords on this site. Your customer reference identifies your orders; it is not a login and cannot be used to see anyone else’s details.

Former services

Usavir Academy and USAVIR Tools are closed. Their former pages redirect to a dated record. No tuition is offered and no tool is available.

Terms of sale

Draft for legal review.

What these terms cover

These terms describe how a domain name listed on usavir.uk is sold. A name shown at a fixed price is sold by order through its Buy button, as set out under Ordering a listed name. A name shown with an asking price and a floor is sold by negotiation, as set out under A sale that follows an offer. Nothing on this site, and nothing in email, is binding until a contract is formed in one of those two ways.

The seller

The seller of record for every name is Usavir Naseem · USAVIR · United Kingdom (“USAVIR”). USAVIR is the registrant of each name it offers and holds it outright; no name is listed on behalf of anyone else.

Prices and offers

Every listing states a price in pounds sterling and the date it was written; every change to a price is dated on the name’s own page. Prices are the total price, including any VAT. A listing marked fixed is sold at that price only. A listing with a floor beneath its asking price takes offers from that floor; an offer sent through the name’s page is an invitation to negotiate, and USAVIR may accept, counter or decline it.

USAVIR may withdraw a name at any time before a contract is formed, including on a credible rights claim.

Ordering a listed name (the Buy button)

  1. The order. Pressing Buy, giving your first and last name and your email address and pressing Submit Order is an offer by you to buy the name at the price shown. You receive a customer reference on screen; it is derived from your email address, is yours for good, and is reused for any later order.
  2. Acceptance. USAVIR accepts your order by sending the confirmation email, which carries your reference and the invoice as an attached PDF with the bank details, the exact amount and your payment reference. The contract is formed when that email is sent. If USAVIR cannot accept (for example because the name has just been sold or withdrawn), it tells you by email and nothing is owed.
  3. Reservation. From the invoice the name is reserved for you for 48 hours. If cleared funds have not arrived by then, USAVIR may release the name; any later payment is returned.
  4. Payment. By bank transfer of the exact amount in pounds sterling, from an account in your own name, quoting the payment reference. See Payment.
  5. Transfer. Within two business days of cleared funds USAVIR transfers the name to your registrar account (by authorisation code, registrar push or, for .uk names, Nominet registrant transfer) and confirms the transfer in writing. If the name is not transferred within that window, your payment is returned in full.
  6. Completion. You confirm control in writing; the listing is marked sold and the date is recorded on its page.

A sale that follows an offer

  1. Agreement. When an offer is accepted, USAVIR sends a one-page written sale agreement naming the domain, the price, the payment terms and the transfer window. The buyer accepts it in writing; the contract is formed on that acceptance.
  2. Invoice. USAVIR sends the invoice by email as a PDF carrying the bank details, the exact amount and the buyer’s reference.
  3. Payment, transfer and completion follow the same steps as an order: payment by bank transfer, transfer within two business days of cleared funds or the payment returned in full, and the listing marked sold.

Payment

Payment is by bank transfer in pounds sterling to the account in the invoice email. The account is in the seller’s own name. USAVIR never changes bank details by email or phone. If you ever receive different details, stop and write to the address on the Contact page before paying. Cleared funds are confirmed by USAVIR in its own bank, not from any document. Cash, cheques, cards, cryptocurrency and third-party payers are not accepted. Any overpayment is refunded only to the account it came from, and any shortfall must be made up before the transfer.

What the sale includes

The sale is of the domain name registration only. It includes no website content, no email accounts, no trade mark rights and no goodwill. Trade mark clearance for the buyer’s intended use is the buyer’s own responsibility; where a name’s page says that no register was searched, the buyer accepts the name with that stated.

USAVIR warrants that at completion it is the sole registrant, that the name is not subject to any dispute, lien or known rights claim of which USAVIR is aware, and that it has the right to transfer it. No other warranty is given.

Who is buying

An order records the buyer’s name and email address; a negotiated sale also records whether the buyer acts as a business or as an individual, and the buyer’s country. Buyers who are consumers have a 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013: by ordering, a consumer asks USAVIR to begin the transfer within that period and accepts that the right to cancel ends once the transfer is complete; until then a consumer may cancel by email and any payment is returned in full. Sales are subject to UK financial-sanctions checks, and USAVIR may decline to proceed where it cannot satisfy itself.

Law

These terms and every sale are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

This page is a draft prepared for review by a solicitor; it is the contract for an order placed with the Buy button, and the signed sale agreement is the contract for a negotiated sale.
